Kavitha's father worked as a casual loader whose income was erratic. When financial pressures mounted, the family could not afford textbooks, exam fees, or school uniforms. Kavitha was on the verge of discontinuing school in 8th grade.
Neha Foundation's field team identified Kavitha during an annual community retention survey. She was enrolled in the School Kit Lifeline program, received complete tuition sponsorship, and joined the after-school Community Learning Center for daily mathematics coaching.
With continuous mentorship and digital literacy access, Kavitha topped her school class with 92% marks and has now enrolled in pre-university science streams with full academic support.

Kavitha was one of the brightest students in her government high school, but by mid-2023, unpaid fees and the sheer lack of notebooks and geometry sets made attending classes humiliating.
